This Shotgun Sight has some very useful features. The release lever can not accidentally be released, you have to depress a safety catch before it is possible to loosen the release lever.

The clamping pressure can be fine tuned to your picatinny rail. Also, the clamping pressure adjuster can not unwind due to vibration.

Our recommended way of using this Sight

If you are using this fiber optic sight for clay pigeon shooting or any moving target you must have both eyes open all the time.

Mount your gun and hard focus on the Sight Picture, positioning your gun until you see a full circle of light, this indicates your gun is aligned. (what the disc of light is superimposed on, the axis of the barrel is looking at the same thing.

Now, do not hard focus on your Sight anymore. Hard focus on your Target, or at the distance you know the target will be. This is critical. You only need to be "AWARE" of the Sight Picture in your “SECONDARY” vision.

The Mk1 eye ball can't focus on 2 things at the same time, best know where the target is.

With both eyes open, you give yourself:

1. The maximum situation awareness (horizontal and vertical field of view). With one eye shut you have a reduced field of view.
2. With both eyes open you give yourself Stereoscopic vision which gives you the ability to judge speed.
3. It also gives you the ability to judge distance.
4. With one eye shut you have none of the above attributes.

Being able to judge Speed and Distance is imperative in order to consistently hit moving targets. It only works when both eyes are open!
